Nanuoya (Sinhala: නානුඔය, Tamil: நானு ஓயா)

Nanuoya is a small village situated 7 km from Nuwara Eliya in the hill country. There aren't many tourist attractions in Nanuoya, as it is a developing tourist destination. However, many travelers board the train to Ella from this location, as Nuwara Eliya lacks a train station.

The temperature is similar to that of Nuwara Eliya, ranging from around 12°C to 14°C throughout the year. At night, it can drop below this range. The best time to visit is from January to April, although the days are much cooler compared to the rest of the country.
