Day 1: Negombo Upon arrival at the airport, a guide/driver will greet and transport you in an air-conditioned vehicle to your chosen guesthouse or beach hotel in Negombo. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Overnight in Negombo.

Day 2: Pinnawala – Sigiriya Start the day with an early breakfast and head to Sri Lanka's cultural triangle, stopping at the Elephant Orphanage, which cares for orphaned or injured elephants. If you depart early, you can witness the elephants bathing in the river after the youngest are fed milk. After lunch, proceed to the cultural triangle and check into a hotel in Sigiriya. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 3: Polonnaruwa Explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, the former capital of a prosperous medieval kingdom. Return to the hotel afterward. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 4: Sigiriya – Habarana Enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel pool or explore the surroundings, perhaps with a walk or a relaxing massage at an Ayurveda center. In the evening, visit a forest Buddhist monastery. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 5: Matale – Kandy After breakfast, check out and visit the Sigiriya rock fortress, a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage site. Climbing to the top of this ancient fortress offers breathtaking views. Continue to Kandy, stopping at a spice garden in Matale along the way. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 6: Kandy After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth, and spend some leisure time shopping. In the evening, experience a captivating Sri Lankan cultural show. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya After breakfast, travel into the scenic tea-growing hills with the option to take a winding route through the mountains. Visit a Sri Lankan tea factory en route to Nuwara Eliya. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya After breakfast, explore "Little England" with a city tour and the option to stroll through the streets. Visit the Haggala Botanical Gardens as well. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 9: Ella – Yala After breakfast, travel to Yala, stopping at Ella Gap and Rawana Waterfall along the way. Overnight in Yala.

Day 10: Yala National Park Embark on an early morning game drive in Yala, one of Sri Lanka's premier wildlife parks, where you can see a variety of the island's animals. Overnight in Yala.

Day 11: Galle – Southern Beach After breakfast, check out and drive along Sri Lanka's west coast, visiting Galle Fort and a turtle hatchery en route. By late afternoon, check into a popular beach resort located on Sri Lanka's "Golden Stretch of Beaches." Relax and enjoy your beach stay for the remainder of the tour. Overnight at a beach resort.

Day 12, 13, 14: Beach StayRelax and enjoy leisure time at your beach resort.

Day 15: Beach – AirportDepart for Negombo or the airport.
