Sri Lanka is home to eight UNESCO World Heritage sites, comprising six cultural sites and two natural sites of notable environmental significance. The majority of the cultural sites are located within Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. These historic locations reflect a bygone era of prosperity on this remarkable island.
